Joshua Tree Help!
Tumblr friends! I need your help! Even though I’m a native Southern Californian, I’ve never been to Joshua Tree for some reason. Can you pretty please tell me your favorite things to do/eat/see/feel/buy in Joshua Tree?! I will be indebted to you until the end of the day.
Also why does Tumblr make you finish your post with a question mark in order to let people answer your question?

You should definitely stop at Pappy and Harriets in Pioneertown which is on the way to Joshua Tree. It’s an awesome old roadhouse saloon

I drove to the north side, bought some joshua tree seeds (didn’t grow), smoked a fatty and drove leisurely to the south entrance.

Go to a section of the park called the wonderland of rocks…climb a boulder pile as high as you can and sleep out under the stars…no tent!

It’s a great place to explore! For “offbeat” places, try The Sunrunner’s website. 29 Palms Inn and Roughly Manor are great places to stay

Go to Sam’s in the town of Joshua Tree - best Indian food I’ve had outside London, no joke. Don’t let the shabby exterior fool you.

It’s a great place for hiking and rock climbing. The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway is nearby and is supposed to be really neat.

I used to go camping there all the time! There’s rock climbing to do, which is fun. Watch out for rattlesnakes.

We stayed at a site that was near a bunch of giant flat rocks. We slept in sleeping bags on the rocks. Best time ever. Bring firewood.

near joshua tree and 29 palms, is pioneertown. i highly recommend making a detour and stopping at pappy & harriets for burgers/beer. HAVE FUN
